About Alphen Egg Packaging
Established in 1995, Alphen Egg Packaging Distributors is a family-run business, dedicated to providing farmers, packing businesses and retail chains with a broad selection of innovative and eco-friendly egg packaging solutions. We aim to be a one-stop shop for affordable and eco-friendly egg packaging products.
Deliveries can be arranged depending on your location as well as the quantity ordered, alternatively you are welcome to collect directly from our premises.
Although we are based in Pretoria, Gauteng, our customer base extends nation-wide as well as into our neighbouring countries. Alphen Egg Packaging Distributors is a registered SADC Exporter and has the necessary permits in place.

Our Products
With consumers becoming more environmentally conscious, the demand for sustainable packaging has escalated. When it comes to packaging for our everyday essentials like eggs, opting for eco-friendly options can make a big difference. The bulk of our products are made from biodegradable, compostable, moulded fibre - a combination of Waste Paper and Paper Mill Waste - and comes in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours. The packaging we distribute is environmentally friendly as it is:
Eggs remain fresher for longer in fibre moulded egg cartons when compared to plastic or foam-based alternatives. Moulded fibre’s ability to absorb excess moisture, without altering its shape, and its permeability to CO2 keep eggs fresh in this practical pack that further protects eggs from external factors (i.e. light or temperature fluctuations) that can affect their scent and taste. All of our fibre-based packaging is waterproof to some extent and all products have been tested in terms of safety for human consumption. Our design team is quite innovative and can assist with designs to ensure your product stands out from the crowd. We can also assist in procuring your own unique barcodes if required.
